electric vehicles conference, This week saw the Future of Electric Vehicles USA 2010 conference take place in San Jose, California. Billed as “the world's only event that covers all forms of electric vehicles – land, water, and air,” it included a series of presentations on new technologies, an exhibit hall, and master classes that featured trips to nearby Silicon Valley tech development firms. Gizmag was one of the main sponsors of the event, and we were there to learn more about what’s happening in the world of EVs. Here’s a quick look at some of what we took in (many of the presenters have been featured in Gizmag in the past couple of years, so go ahead and click on the links to learn Future of Electric Vehicles is run by research, analysis and events firm IDTechEx. The conference opened with an address from company Chairman Dr. Peter Harrop, who gave an overview of the present state and future of the EV industry.

spike lee tweet, A couple who say they were forced to leave their home after director Spike Lee re-tweeted their address to his Twitter followers has hired the Morgan & Morgan law firm to represent them.
“At this point, they have retained us to protect their interests” and their safety, attorney Matt Morgan said of Elaine and David McClain, an elderly Sanford-area couple in their 70s.

The Oscar-nominated Williams, 31, has actually been friends with Segel, 32, for years, through his "Freaks and Geeks" costar Busy Phillips. Phillips is also best friends with Williams, after working on two seasons of "Dawson's Creek." The 32-year-old actress is also the godmother of Matilda, Williams' 6-year-old daughter with the late Heath Ledger.With Segel's recent rocket of a ride to fame (thanks to "The Muppets," the upcoming "Jeff, Who Lives at Home," "The Five-Year Engagement," "This Is Forty" and oh, seven seasons of "How I Met Your Mother"), it seems that Williams, too, has also caught Jason Segel fever.

james franco spring breakers, Just when you thought the Spring Breakers has Instagrammed every scene of Harmony Korine's star-studded upcoming flick, Selena Gomez uploads another Internet-buster. Not only are she and her saucy trouble-making co-stars, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rachel Korine scantily clad in their beachwear finest, the lovely ladies are also perched in a crisp white coupe with James Franco like you've never seen him before holding down the driver's seat.

Wardrobed in a printed shirt left unbuttoned to reveal a white undershirt/tank, contrast rimmed sunglasses, and scruffy kind of bizarro facial hair, Franco appears to be channelling Kevin Federline circa the cornrow era for this role. It's hard to tell from this photo, but James even has little red, white, and blue plastic beads sitting at the bottom of his braids like a 13-year-old girl who just got back from a family trip to the Bahamas. As always, we'll keep our eyes glued to our feeds for any more on-set shots of J-Franc, and dutifully report back. Also, all this considered, we cannot WAIT to see what costume designer Heidi Bivens has in store for Heather Morris!

Spring Breakers tells the story of “four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation. [They] find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer (Franco) who wants them to do some dirty work.”

It all started with that K-Fedy Instagram photo of James Franco and has now turned into this. Almost 100 pictures of Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez and James Franco Federline filming Spring Breakers. I tried to cut these down to maybe 20 but then I realized all three girls were showing off their tits and ass and there’s no way I was leaving out any picture of James “Wigger” Franco for these are the three basic tenets of this website.
